Athletics Carnival 2020
The Tom Price Senior High School 2020 Athletics Carnival was a wonderful and successful day for all. It was really great to see such a high level of attendance, excellent behaviour and participation throughout the day. There was some great cheering, encouragement and team spirit shown during the track and field events, the novelty events and from the house bays. We had many records broken throughout the day and in the pre-carnival events during the week leading up to the carnival, some which had stood for more than 20-30 years!
The students of Tom Price Senior High School continue to display incredible athletic capability at our carnivals each year and it’s been a pleasure to witness greatness once again in 2020. The School would like to congratulate the Hardey House/Faction for winning the carnival with 2249pts, beating Maitland who had 2048pts and Ashburton with 1573pts.
Congratulations to all of our runner-ups and champions from each year group for demonstrating such amazing talent and athletic ability. We look forward to seeing them perform at a high level once again at the Interschool Carnival in Week 8 on the 10th and 11th of September.
The Health & Physical Education Department put in a lot of time and effort to organise this carnival and I would like to congratulate them on all of their help and efforts. The HPE Department would like to acknowledge and thank the local Police, parents and helpers, country youth ambulance officers, all of the staff for their presence and assistance during the day and all of those who came down to watch and support the children from our local community.
